Through its eyewear donation operation in Thailand<\/strong>, the Association au Coeur du Siam is pursuing its commitment to improving the quality of life of local populations.<\/p>\n

The initiative, launched in partnership with Alain Afflelou<\/strong> and Egg Events<\/a>, provided children and their carers with eyewear for the Camillian Home<\/a> in Lad Krabang and Duang Prathip<\/a> in Khlong Toey, Bangkok.<\/p>\n

A total of 191 people benefited from this solidarity initiative<\/strong>, improving their daily lives.<\/p>\n

Lacking access to eye care<\/strong> and financial resources, many people in Thailand suffer from vision problems. Yet visual health<\/strong> is essential to everyone’s well-being, especially for schoolchildren and working adults. <\/p>\n

In fact, poor vision can be the cause of learning difficulties, leading to a drop in productivity and adding obstacles to everyday life.<\/p>\n

Aware of this reality, Au Coeur du Siam<\/strong> and its partners<\/strong> have joined forces to offer a concrete solution to children at the Camillian Home and Duang Prathip centers, who have little access to ophthalmological examinations and adapted optical equipment.<\/p>\n

Eyewear distribution tailored to your needs<\/h2>\n

Au c\u0153ur du Siam and its partners distributed<\/strong> 54 pairs of glasses to children at the Camillian Home center and 137 pairs to children and caregivers at the Duang Prathip center. Each pair of glasses was carefully selected and adjusted to meet the specific needs of each individual. <\/p>\n

    An effective Humanitarian Partnership despite the pandemic<\/h2>\n

    This initiative was made possible thanks to the involvement of several partners<\/strong>. Indeed, without the participation of C\u00e9cile Lagarde, Marion Tarneaud and Wanna, the organization and smooth running of the project would have been compromised, especially in a complex health context. <\/p>\n

    Despite our best efforts, the operation was significantly delayed by the global health crisis. Border closures, travel restrictions and logistical difficulties delayed the delivery of the glasses on several occasions. <\/p>\n

    However, thanks to perseverance and effective coordination between the various players involved in the project, the mission was successfully completed.<\/p>\n

    This success highlights the strength of solidarity-based partnerships<\/strong>, as well as the good cooperation between associations and private companies in carrying out sustainable humanitarian actions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
